Calling All Classical Music Lovers

The Sherriff Centre is a unique charity based community centre in the heart of West Hampstead, situated at St James Church. If you are new to the area, or haven't visited before the Church is already quite unique – hosting a coffee shop, soft play area for children, and gift shop. We thought our local residents would be interested to know that now the international Sherriff Centre concert series offers the public a chance to hear top musicians in a relaxed and more intimate atmosphere in a place rooted in community life. The series has received BBC radio 3 coverage, as well as attention from the Evening Standard and Ham & High. Launched successfully on January 5th by Mark Padmore and Andrew West, followed by Carolyn Sampson and the Heath Quartet in February, and Timothy Ridout and Yehuda Inbar in March.

This April they are excited to announce they will be hosting the exciting jazz pianist Omer Klein who was recently nominated for the ECHO awards for his album Sleepwalkers with Warner Classics.

If this is something you think you might enjoy, then why not check out their Facebook page where you can keep up to date with any upcoming musical events.

We would love to hear from you. Click here to let us know what you think!
