Every day individuals in Brent go hungry for a range of reasons, from benefit delays to receiving an unexpected bill on a low income. Thanks to donations, Brent Foodbank are able to still help people put food on the table. Since opening they’ve provided 1,542 three-day emergency food supplies to people in the community that would have gone hungry.
With your help we’ve been able to support Brent Foodbank for two years. Thanks to you, hundreds of tins, dried goods and toiletries have been distributed to those that need it most in Brent.
This Easter we want to make the emergency food supplies a little more exciting for those that receive them. Most families in receipt of emergency food supplies won’t be able to buy an Easter egg this year, and we’d like to make sure they get one with their other supplies.
That’s why we’re donating Easter eggs to Brent Foodbank this Spring, and we’d love it if you’re able to donate one too. Just drop your Easter egg off at our office (150 West End Lane) and we’ll take them to the Foodbank in time for Easter.
