The most incredible homes Wales has to offer

In the spirit of St David’s Day we’re celebrating some truly magnificent homes the Welsh land has to offer. From forest hideaways to futuristic castles, Wales truly is the hot spot for some of the UK's most anhygoel (amazing) properties.

Cefn Castell

A truly stunning, modern home that brings a bit of the Florida west coast to the Cardigan Welsh coast. Although this home looks straight from the future, it has the past within its walls (literally). Built on top of a 400-year-old Welsh cottage, the stone remains of the historic site were used to build the boundary wall offering respite from the rugged Welsh weather and a reminder of what stood before. With a sleek interior and panoramic views of the Cardigan coast, its clear to see why this property was a proud winner of the Welsh Architecture Award.

Ty Hedfan

Ever dream about having a treehouse in your back garden like those cool kids in the movies? Time to make those dreams a reality! Ty Hedfan meaning ‘The Hovering House’ is a spectacular, architecturally designed home nestled in the Brecon Beacons overlooking the Ysgir River. The main living room ‘floats’ over the river and offers floor-to-ceiling windows and a log fire – giving us all the romantic feels! Hate to break it to you: you won’t be able to buy this cozy home, but you can rent it for your next bae-cation!

The Brink

With panoramic views over Cardigan Bay, it’s easy to see why this stunning home has made it on the list – It looks like a scene plucked straight out of a James Bond movie! As if the view wasn’t enough, it also comes with two large balconies, a private swimming pool and private steps to the beach! "Sign me up" we hear you say? Unfortunately, this one was snapped up in May 2021 for a healthy £2.6 Million! I guess we can still dream, right?
