What to do in North West London this Summer

Spring has sprung, so what do I do?

It’s now that time of the year where nights become longer, beer gardens become fuller and everyone makes the effort to take advantage of this beautiful weather. So what can you plan this month apart from attending your local pub?

It’s only right to start with the most famous family on the planet and a certain upcoming wedding. On Saturday the 19th May, the world's attention will turn to the marriage of Prince Harry and Meghan. There are plenty of events happening across the capital from a bonanza down on the South Bank, knees up at The Book Club in Shoreditch or enjoy a limited edition ‘Something Borrowed, Something Brewed’ ale at our local Railway, here in West Hampstead.

Pizza festival? Yes please! This weekend London’s pizza festival will be taking place over Friday and Saturday at Porchester Hall in Notting Hill, West London. £15 all you can eat pizza, along with music and entertainment sounds like a winner to me.

More in love with your four legged friends than your food? Then the Great Hampstead Bark Off will be right up your street this Saturday. Held at the Parliament Hill Bandstand in Hampstead Heath, £5 entry per dog will give you entry to the dog show which will include categories for ‘cutest pup’, ‘golden oldies’ and ‘best rescue’. And best of all, proceeds made go to All Dogs Matter.

So however you choose to spend your time in the sun, whether it be a nice stroll around the local parks of Hampstead Heath or Queens Park, a chilled drink in a pub garden or a sight seeing trip around central, London has always got you covered.
