A little outside of Childs Hill is Heath Street Bakehouse. This coffee shop will change your life! The best baristas, amazing pastries and fresh homemade sourdough bread everyday. It's a deep part of our weekend ritual.

For Indian, look no further than Bonoo. Their Railway Lamb Curry is divine! For Burgers, Spielburger is the place to go... especially because of their lunch special discount!!! For Thai, get yourself a panang curry from Meekhun Thai. You WILL NOT regret it.

How would you spend a Saturday in Childs Hill as a local?
They always start off with a trip to the West Hampstead Farmers Market (not to be missed) for the freshest berries, cheeses and organic meats. Our Saturdays also always include a walk around Golders Hill Park to see the animals with our child, and then get a cheeky victoria sponge at their cafe.

Where's the best place to go if you want to be outdoors?
Golders Hill Park has all you need, a small zoo and playground for the kids, big open plains of grass for sports, and a lovely cafe at the top of the hill with homemade cakes and gelato! Bring your picnic blanket!

What would you say Childs Hill's hidden gem is?
Childs Hill's hidden gem is without a doubt the heath. Google Maps just shows you a big patch of green, but once you step in, you'll know its far more than that. After all, it inspired C.S. Lewis to write The Chronicles of Narnia... so you know it's a magical place!
