What are your top restaurants to go to for dinner?

Koobideh is a small place on Long Lane that serves up great Iranian food. The staff are extremely friendly and always say hello when we walk past. They've even given us free food when they, and everywhere else was closed. The Elephant Inn is a great pub with a wide variety of drinks, entertainment, and brilliant Thai food.

How would you spend a Saturday in Finchley Central?

I personally play rugby at Saracens Amateurs, but there is the more local Finchley RFC, and plenty of other very welcoming sports clubs around.

Where’s the best place to be if you want to outdoors?

Victoria Park is very open, with a play area for kids, it's a good size to run a lap or two, and there's plenty of space to relax in the sun.

Other than Avenue House there is Hampstead Heath or Golders Hill, Golders Green a bus ride away.

Is there anything else you’d like to give a special mention to?

Finchley has an interesting House and Gardens known as Stephens House. A Grade II listed house with extensive gardens including a secret garden. Also there is a bronze statue of Spike Milligan and memorabilia relating to his private world. Also they host various evening meals re-enacting Burns Night, St. Georges day to name but two. During the summer months there are shows held in the wonderful surroundings of the vast gardens. There is also a sensory garden. All the gardens are looked after by volunteers. Well worth a visit.
