What kind of vibe does Willesden Green have?
It's quirky, with bits that some might say are 'interesting', but it's so convenient. There's a good mix of all the things you need — great bread, organic stores, both small and large Sainsburys, and some fab places to eat. It's also near some lovely parks. I love it.

How well-connected is Willesden Green?
It has fantastic transport links that opens up the whole of London to you. With the transport links I could easily get to Westfield Shepherds Bush for shopping (overground), central London to meet friend for a social (Jubilee line), or head up to St. Albans or Luton Airport if I really want to escape! The city of London takes 35 minutes for work which makes week days easy too.

Where's your favourite place to grab a morning coffee?
Definitely between Gails or Cuore. I think Cuore just about wins because of its authentic Italian Deli feel.

What are your top 3 restaurants in the area?
There's a fabulous Japanese place, Sushi Masa - family owned and run and serves wonderful Japanese food. Lezziz Charcoal Grill serves fantastic food and with excellent service. If you're after a cheeky burger, try the Burger and Beer restaurant. It does what it says on the tin, and does it well.

How would you spend a Saturday in Willesden Green?
Probably doing a Parkrun in Gladstone Park. A few hundred people in the area meet up to do it and it adds a lovely community feel to start the day. Following that a brunch with friends. In Willesden, I could go to Angie's Pub for the football, or walk to Queens Park for a change of scenery.

I'd wander down to Walnut Whole Foods to pick up my weekly shop, stop over at Gail's for a coffee and cake (yum!), and then walk down to the library to pick up a book to read whilst having breakfast.

On a Saturday, we enjoy walking up to beautiful Gladstone Park for a good stretch of the legs and a must-have coffee & a slice of delicious cake from the Stables Cafe. Then we’ll head to Heliotique (a fabulous independent gift / lifestyle shop) and pick up some weekend treats, then usually head to Walnut for some lovely fresh dinner ingredients.

Where's the best place to be if you want to be outdoors?
Paddington Old Cemetery. There were 2000 new trees were planted a few years ago and there is an apiary within the cemetery that produces 'Tombstone honey' so it's green and delightful.

I’m a huge tennis fan so my Saturday's are normally spent playing tennis in Queen's Park or Gladstone Park. There's also a farmers market that runs every Sunday in Queen's Park which is worth a visit.
