Working as an Estate Agent at Paramount in West Hampstead for just shy of 19 years I have certainly seen the demographics change with a great deal more families now residing in the area and it’s that day of the year again when all mums (even though they may often say “oh don’t worry it’s just commercial nonsense”) love and deserve to be treated and remembered for all their amazing hard work and love and care they shower their family with a lovely treat or two!
West Hampstead offers a wonderful wealth of treats to gift to that special mum.
A thoughtful card or perhaps some beautiful flowers from one of the areas florists to create a lovely bouquet (our favourites are The Flower Gallery or Flowerstalk) , a great book to read from the areas traditional bookshop or maybe a treat of some wonderful chocolates perhaps from the plethora of the local shops.
Of course, a tasty bite to eat would also be part of that special day with a raft of eateries, bars and restaurants to choose from. Perhaps the newly opened Ham on West End Lane, or maybe The Wet Fish Café.
A wonderful end of the day could then be a family walk in many of the areas local recreational parks to include Golders Hill Park, Kilburn Grange Park or of course Hampstead Heath.
So to all those valued mums, Paramount in West Hampstead would like to wish you a very very happy mother’s day!
