Giving Back: The Charities Close to Paramount’s Heart This November

We’ve always believed in giving back at Paramount, it’s part of who we are. Supporting our community isn’t just something we talk about; it’s embedded in our culture and echoed across every desk in our office.

This November, we wanted to do something a little different,  something closer to home. We’ve chosen four of our wonderful team members and asked each of them to select a charity close to their heart. Paramount will be donating £250 to each of their chosen causes.

Not only has this given our team a hands-on way to make a difference, but it’s also given us a glimpse into the causes that matter most to them.

Meet Tam, Reagan, Rhian and Reuben, and discover the charities they’ve chosen to support this winter.

Turner Syndrome Support Society

Chosen by Reuben Rowe

The Turner Syndrome Support Society provides vital information, guidance and community for those affected by Turner Syndrome. With 26 friendship groups across the UK, annual conferences, and resources for parents and schools, their work helps families navigate life from childhood to adulthood.

One of the most inspiring aspects of their mission is their focus on building self-esteem among TS women, even publishing empowering materials like “Who is the woman I am less than anyway?” Their compassion and commitment to education, inclusion and empowerment make a lasting impact.

“They have been a massive help to my sister throughout her youth, and even now at 30, she still goes to the annual conference. This charity means a massive amount to me and my family.”  – Reuben

Endometriosis UK

Chosen by Reagan Bradley

Endometriosis UK is the UK’s leading charity for those affected by the condition, a condition that impacts around 1.5 million women in the UK yet remains underdiagnosed and under-researched.

Their mission is to change that. From a national helpline and online support groups to awareness campaigns and community fundraising events, they’re empowering women to speak up and get the care they deserve.

“As I head into my second surgery in three years and continue to manage sometimes debilitating pain and symptoms while trying to maintain a job, a home, and kids, a contribution here would mean a lot to me.”  – Reagan

Cardinal Hume Centre

Chosen by Tamanna Malik

The Cardinal Hume Centre supports families and young people facing poverty and homelessness, a vital lifeline in today’s climate.

A few statistics from their website really stood out:

  • 38% of children in London live in poverty
  • 42% of households at risk of homelessness have children
  • 8,847 young people in London approached their local authority as homeless

Cardinal Hume offers essential services including free family sessions, immigration advice, and employment and adult learning support. They don’t just provide help,  they guide people towards long-term stability and brighter futures.

“They also run a hostel providing supported accommodation for young people aged 16–25. The people who work and volunteer there are incredible,  they help vulnerable people see their full potential. This organisation means a lot to me, so any support would be greatly appreciated.” – Tamanna

The Chalkhill Community Centre

Chosen by Rhian Crumlin

The Chalkhill Community Centre is a volunteer-run organisation supporting residents of the Chalkhill Estate. Its mission is to create opportunities, improve quality of life, and build a stronger, safer neighbourhood for everyone.

The Trust provides practical help through grants and community initiatives — from school uniform grants and the Sheila Morcombe Higher Education Grant for university students, to the Des Keenan Grant for residents facing financial hardship. They also deliver education and training opportunities, childcare and health support, and projects that promote safety and inclusion.

Driven entirely by locals, the Trust embodies what community spirit truly looks like in Chalkhill.

“For me personally, this organisation has been the pillar of the community I grew up in. As a child I went to their youth clubs and learned so much, and now as an adult I realise how important their work has been in giving people hope that there will always be a helping hand when times are tough. The We Love Chalkhill festival is one of my favourite  events,  everyone comes together, the local schools, the residents, and we celebrate the community we share. I think that’s such a beautiful thing.” Rhian
