Based in Fortune Green, this fantastic playscheme allows 4-12 year olds to unleash their imagination and try a bit of everything between the 23rd July and 29th August. There is so much for them to choose from, but activities include everything from jewellery making to cooking and sculpting to face painting.
They run an extended day scheme from 8am- 6pm and a shorter 11am-4pm day with fees £30 and £15 respectively with concessions available.
Get ready for lift off at the Summer of Fun ‘N’ Flight at the RAF Museum
Head to the RAF Museum for a jam-packed programme of hands-on fun, creative workshops and exciting challenges throughout the summer holidays. It’s not just the kids that can get involved in the fun either, you can too. Fly remote-control helicopters, enter a virtual reality world, create amazing Lego builds and more.
Prices range from £5-7 for ages 4 and above.
Snap up tickets for Roald Dahl’s The Enormous Crocodile at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre
One of the best cultural assets we have in north west London is the Open Air Theatre in Regent’s Park, and this summer the hilarious The Enormous Crocodile returns for more musical mischief. Based in Roald Dahl’s much-loved book, there are multiple performances happening between the 15th of August to the 7th of September 2025.
With relaxed performances, BSL and audio described performances available, this fun activity is open for everyone to enjoy.
Open their world with new tales with The British Library’s relaxed family afternoon: Story Explorers
If your little one is on the autism spectrum or has additional sensory needs, these relaxed afternoon sessions of their Story Explorers: A Journey Through Imaginary Worlds exhibition is perfect.
The sessions have reduced capacity and are taking place on Monday 28th July and Monday 11th August. The event is free of charge, however tickets must be booked online in advance.
Explore the north west’s amazing parks and green spaces
North west London is home to some of London’s best parks and where you will find one of the capital’s most famous open spaces, Hampstead Heath. With unbeatable views from Parliament Hill, woodlands and outdoor lido, this ancient heath is one of north west London’s prized jewels.
Other big hitters include Primrose Hill and Regent’s Park, both offering acres of beautiful outdoor space for free.
Closer to home you can enjoy the openness of Fortune Green, with its much-loved play area and Kilburn Grange Park complete with a basketball court, outdoor gym and tennis courts to keep the young ones entertained all summer. Primrose Hill and Regent’s Park are located nearby.
