Thank you to everyone who raided their wardrobe and dropped off warm clothing for people living on the streets this winter. It was an inspiring mix of people in our office and people in the community who got involved with the Winter Warmth campaign this year.

All in all, we were able to donate 6 full bags of warm clothing to Streets Kitchen Camden. They're a grassroots group, with the motto "Solidarity not Charity" that runs an outreach programme providing food, clothing, and information to the homeless community. According to Rachel, a wonderful volunteer with Streets Kitchen, they see about 30 to 40 people per outreach in Camden (per week). You can learn more about Streets Kitchen here.

In addition to the clothing, we were able to provide 50 backpacks and 50 flasks through a donation by Only A Pavement Away. Rachel said "People LOVED the flasks and I can't wait to give out the next set in a week. Really super helpful!"
Through Agents Giving, a fantastic charity we support and fundraise with year round, we were also able to provide a £200 grant donation to Only A Pavement Away. They were founded by representatives from the hospitality industry and aim to transform the lives of people facing homelessness by giving them an opportunity to find new careers in hospitality. You can find out more about them here.
