Paramount Pantry supporting Brent Foodbank

Between the 17^th to the 21^st of June, we will be running a food drive collection of non-perishables in our office for our local Brent foodbank (part of the Trussel Trust, which works to end hunger and poverty in the UK). This year they have experienced a 400% increase in the number of visitors using their services as they struggle to put food on the table. Unfortunately, there has been a significant decline in the number of donations that they have been receiving, putting more pressure than ever on the food bank to meet the needs of the community. 

We have asked the food bank for a list of items that they are most in need of this year, and as a team each of us will fill a Paramount Pantry donation bag to contribute. we are hoping that members of the public – who are either passing through or who call West Hampstead home – can purchase one or two extra items during their weekly shop, or raid their pantry for non-perishables, and drop them into our office to go to those who are in need.

If you are unable to make it to our office, we still want to make it as easy as possible for you to help. Give us a call at 020 7644 2344, or email us at pantry@paramount-properties.co.uk to let us know that you’d like to donate, and we will drop off a Paramount Pantry donation bag to any location in NW2 or NW6 between now and the 17^th of June. We will then arrange to have your donation bag picked up again once it is filled.

A small effort on your part can make a world of difference to our neighbours who struggle to make ends meet and put food on the table. Please help us alleviate some of the pressure that our local food bank is experiencing with this year’s increased demand.  

The volunteers and staff at Brent foodbank are incredible people who do a tough, demanding and necessary job in our community. This year we'll not only be donating much need food items for food bank visitors, we'll be volunteering our time to help Brent foodbank expand their reception area to accommodate the higher flow of visitors that they're experiencing.
